The project
Designed by architects Sergio Sacco and Angelo De Francesco, Petrarca 37 embodies a vision of contemporary regeneration that blends aesthetics, comfort, and sustainability.
The project involves the demolition of the former Hotel Villa Serena — a disused structure abandoned for nearly fifteen years — and the construction of a new A4 energy class residential building, developed over six above-ground floors and one underground level dedicated to garages and storage rooms.

A New Urban Identity
With Petrarca 37, Loano gains a new residential landmark. Essential architectural lines, expansive glass façades, and meticulous attention to detail define a project that engages with the surrounding landscape and opens itself to light.
An intervention that not only redevelops a disused area but also reconnects the urban fabric — restoring to the city a place of life, harmony, and beauty.
Renewing Without Consuming
Petrarca 37 is a virtuous example of responsible architecture, born from the desire to restore life and value to an already urbanized area.
The project embraces a brownfield approach, focused on land reuse and the reduction of environmental impact, avoiding new construction on green areas.
A concrete way to regenerate without consuming — respecting the identity of the place while enhancing its quality.
Living Under the Open Sky
The panoramic solarium is the emotional heart of the project — a space suspended between sky and sea, designed to embrace light and the beauty of the landscape in every season.
Here, architecture opens toward the horizon, transforming the rooftop into a place of well-being and social connection — a haven for relaxation, sunbathing, or simply contemplating the view.
Petrarca 37 thus celebrates the art of living outdoors, in perfect balance between private comfort and Mediterranean serenity.
